Alta Law was founded by Zarah Mohoboob and Kamran Ejaz who are qualified solicitors with substantial legal experience.
Zarah Mohoboob has worked in the legal sector since 2011 for a number of law firms in Family, Criminal, Civil and Immigration law. Family Law remains her preferred and main area of practice, managing and advocating on family law matters including child arrangements, child abduction, child relocation, divorce, annulment, financial orders, non-molestation orders, occupation orders, forced marriage matters and care proceedings. She has been commended for her sensitive approach towards clients, her competent and detailed delivery of advice from initial client consultations and thereafter, her excellent drafting skills and detailed, comprehensive, and well-presented bundles of evidence for Court.
She is described as an outgoing, charismatic individual with a sensitive and diverse approach when communicating with people from a variety of backgrounds.
Kamran’s legal expertise spans private and business Immigration, family law and property law. He has conducted a variety of family law matters including divorce, cohabitation matters and various types of children matters. As a leading expert on UK immigration law, Kamran is regularly invited to appear on TV and radio to give his views on the latest immigration matters. Kamran also speaks several languages fluently, including English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.
Zarah and Kamran have known each other since 2013 when they embarked on their Legal Practice Course together at London Metropolitan University. Having remained in touch over the years and benefiting from each others knowledge and experience, they made the decision to embark on the venture of opening a niche law firm specialising in Family Law.
